Settling between Red River and Seine River, this area has one of the greenest
environments in prairies.
Known as St. Vital, these three neighborhoods have a mixture of mature and newer
residential properties in southeast of city.
St. Vital neighborhood originally known as the French speaking area of Winnipeg. For this fact, this part of city attracted many immigrant families with background of French as a second language.
St. Vital Shopping Centre, one of well-known Winnipeg shopping complexes located at north corner of this area.
Based on Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board MLS stats, from end March 2022 to
end March 2023, almost 400 detached residential properties sold in this area with the average sold price of close to $429,000. Minimum purchase price was close to
$269,000, maximum number was around $680,000.
From the same reference, and same period, around 25 attached houses sold, with the
average price of close to $293,000, minimum of $235,000, and maximum of $310,000.
These numbers for condominium units( apartment and condominium houses) are,
average of around $286,000, minimum as low as almost $155,000, and maximum as
high as close to $480,000 (price is for a condominium house).
