Fort Richmond Neighborhood

 This neighborhood is the home of iconic and well-known University of Manitoba.
As the first West Canada University, established in year 1877, University of Manitoba is
still one of city of Winnipeg’s main attractions.

Every year many students from around the world enter this city to join University of Manitoba. As the main campus is located in Fort Richmond Neighborhood, most of these newcomer students look for a residence in this area of city. (Information derived from U of M website)

On the campus of University of Manitoba at the corner of Chancellor Matheson Road and University Crescent is where another Winnipeg icon located. Investors Group Field is home of Winnipeg Blue Bombers football team.
